Committees<\/strong>
\nWe need volunteers for the following committees:
\n* Insurance
\n*OTES
\n*Calendar
\nPlease contact your building rep if you are interested.\u00a0 These committees need to be filled before September 1.<\/p>\n

Buckeye Local Board of Education<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are 2 available positions on the board this year, and there are 2 candidates.\u00a0 They are Melissa Supanik and Theresa George<\/p>\n

Tailgate<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tailgate party will be held on September 8 at Warren Twp. Park.
\nFood will be provided by Big C’s BBQ from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
\nCost is $10 per person and children 18 and under are free.\u00a0 If you are a BLCTA member, you will receive a $10 Kroger gift card if you show up.\u00a0 Grab and Go will be available.
\nDrawings will be held for a wreath and a $75 Amazon gift card.\u00a0 A 50\/50 drawing will also be held.\u00a0 Tickets will be sold 6 for $5.\u00a0 Your building reps will have these tickets.
\nRSVP by August 25.<\/p>\n

Listening Tours<\/strong><\/p>\n

Listening Tours will be held in each building.\u00a0 This will give you an opportunity to meet and talk with executive committee members about concerns, needs…on a one-on-one basis.
\nExact dates will be given soon!
\nTentative schedule
\n*South ~ week of September 5
\n*High School ~ week of September 11
\n*West ~ week of September 18
\n* North ~ week of September 25
\n*Jr. High ~ week of October 2.
\nSnacks will be provided.<\/p>\n

BLCTA Apparel Sale<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will be holding an apparel sale through SanMar.com .
\nFlyers will be handed out at the beginning of the school year.
\nOrders and money will be due by September 15.<\/p>\n

OTES Timeline<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will receive this at the General Session on August 21.<\/p>\n

Executive Committee Meetings\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month ~ September through May.\u00a0 These are subject to change.
\nThe next meeting will be held September 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Gen Varkony’s classroom.\u00a0 118 BLJH<\/p>\n

School Board Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n
