* The Listening Tours have been going well.  Great conversations have taken place, and the members have been providing great ideas for negotiations.  We still have 2 more sessions.

Junior High ~ 10/18

* The BLCTA now has an ad on the School Info App.  It looks great!

*The Foreign Language Club is hosting a Charcuterie and Shopping event on October 19, 2023.  Doors will open at 5:00 pm for shopping.  The BLCTA gave a $50 donation.

* South Elementary will host a Fall Fest on October 14, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  The BLCTA gave a $50 donation.

* Trunk or Treat will be held at the High School on October 28, 2023 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.  The BLCTA gave a donation of treat bags.

* Beginning this year, 2 scholarships will be given from the BLCTA.  One scholarship will be for a student going into the field of education.  The other will be for a child or grandchild of a current or former BLCTA member.  The scholarships will be for $500 each.

* Members of the executive committee are working to create  BLCTA Facebook and Instagram accounts.

* Upcoming school board meetings are 10/16/23 and 11/20/23.  The meetings will be held at 5:30 pm. at the Administrative Office.

* The next BLCTA Executive Committee meeting will be held on November 14, 2023 at 4:30 pm in room 118 at the Junior High.
