Please contact your building rep if you are interested.  These committees need to be filled before September 1.

Buckeye Local Board of Education

There are 2 available positions on the board this year, and there are 2 candidates.  They are Melissa Supanik and Theresa George

Tailgate

The tailgate party will be held on September 8 at Warren Twp. Park.
Food will be provided by Big C’s BBQ from 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Cost is $10 per person and children 18 and under are free.  If you are a BLCTA member, you will receive a $10 Kroger gift card if you show up.  Grab and Go will be available.
Drawings will be held for a wreath and a $75 Amazon gift card.  A 50/50 drawing will also be held.  Tickets will be sold 6 for $5.  Your building reps will have these tickets.
RSVP by August 25.

Listening Tours

Listening Tours will be held in each building.  This will give you an opportunity to meet and talk with executive committee members about concerns, needs…on a one-on-one basis.
Exact dates will be given soon!

*High School ~ week of September 11
*West ~ week of September 18
* North ~ week of September 25
*Jr. High ~ week of October 2.
Snacks will be provided.

BLCTA Apparel Sale

We will be holding an apparel sale through SanMar.com .
Flyers will be handed out at the beginning of the school year.
Orders and money will be due by September 15.

OTES Timeline

You will receive this at the General Session on August 21.

Executive Committee Meetings 

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month ~ September through May.  These are subject to change.
The next meeting will be held September 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Gen Varkony’s classroom.  118 BLJH

School Board Meeting

The next school board meeting is scheduled for August 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office.
