*Our contract will end on August 31, 2026.  Negotiations will begin this spring.  If you have any ideas for changes or adjustments  in content or language, please see your building rep.

*The 2026-2027 calendar has been approved by the board and should have been distributed to staff.

*There will be a vote coming soon for a 2026-2027 calendar MOU.

*There is a BLCTA Family Night at the boys basketball game on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.  BLHS Panthers vs. Bridgeport.  There will be a FREE pizza party at 5:00 pm in room 102 of the BLJH.  Attendees will have their names entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card.  There will be a three point contest during the Varsity halftime.  There is a $1.00 entry fee for the contest, and all proceeds go to the BLCTA Scholarship. The JV game will start at 5:30 and Varsity will start at 6:30. Come out and support our students!  Look for the flyers in your building!

*Elections for treasurer and secretary are coming up this spring.  Please let your building rep know if you are interested in these positions.  Our union could use your help!

*Labor Relations meeting are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at North Elementary.  Please bring issues and concerns to your building rep.

*The next School Board meeting will be Monday, February 9, 2026 at 5:00 pm at the Central Office.

*The next BLCTA Executive Committee meeting will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:30 pm in room 102 of the BLJH.
