*It’s not too late to donate $10 for “Ten for the Teachers of Tomorrow”.  All money goes into the Scholarship Fund!

*We are currently waiting for the Tentative Agreement for our contract to be returned to us.  As soon as we get it, it will be sent to all members.  A vote will then take place.  We are hoping to vote on Friday.

*Please wear your new BLCTA shirt on Friday, May 15.  The shirts were given to all BLCTA members in appreciation for all you do!

*Lacey Brannon was elected as the new Treasurer for the BLCTA.

*Erika Harvey was reelected as the Secretary for the BLCTA.

*Kamden Kinyo was awarded the BLCTA Family Scholarship.

*Robert Call was awarded the BLCTA Education Scholarship.

*Please sign up/enroll for Autopay for your OEA union dues.  If you enroll before September 30, 2026, you will receive a $50 check.  If we get 20% of our membership enrolled by this date, our union will receive $2,600.  Your building reps will be distributing the information.  This program will automatically withdraw the dues from your bank account on the 1st and 15th of every month.

*The next Executive Committee meeting will be held in July 2026.  The date, time and location have yet to be determined.

*Labor Relations meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at North Elementary. Please give issues and concerns to your building rep.

*The next School Board Meeting will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 5:00 pm at the Central Office.
